The ACS Egham curriculum is driven by the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years, Middle Years, and Diploma Programmes. The school also offers all of the coursework needed to fully satisfy the requirements for an American High School Diploma.

This academic programme challenges students to fulfil their potential, and offers a broad-based selection of courses and levels to meet individual needs and interests. An important characteristic of ACS Egham is individual attention to students’ needs facilitated by small class sizes and an exceptionally well-qualified, experienced,and sympathetic faculty; many of whom are IB examiners, moderators, and teacher trainers.

Students are taught to be lifelong, independent learners, and the programme develops the critical thinking skills and reflective practices that will give students a head start at university, and in the workplace. The atmosphere is purposeful and friendly with a global flavour provided by the richness of the nationalities present, and theemphasis given to education for international understanding.

The High School operates a comprehensive Information Technology programme, supported by the latest education software, which is fully integrated into the curriculum. Each student has access to a laptop computer which operates in a wireless environment.

The High School supports its academic programme with a wide range of extracurricular activities, trips and events, including drama productions, art exhibitions, an extensive sports programme, modern language tours, and cultural events. International understanding and community service are encouraged and developed within the school and beyond, with a number of activities including participating in International Model United Nations events, and a Community Service programme in India.

Students receive individualised university guidance from the Academic Dean, and High School Principal. University representatives regularly visit the campus, and students are also encouraged to attend regional university tours, Open Days, and college fairs.
