1st to 10th Grades

• EAL teachers work closely with non-native English-speaking students in the classroom, and one-on-one or in small groups outside the classroom, to support their speaking, listening, reading and writing needs.

• In 9th and 10th Grades, EAL students are expected to be at Advanced Level in EAL. They participate in the mainstream High School curriculum, with some individual support available through an EAL Workshop. The High School does not offer an EAL programme for beginning or intermediate levels.

• Students in 11th and 12th Grades are required to have strong English skills in order to enrol at ACS Cobham.
