ACS Hillingdon Hawks recently successfully hosted the Antwerp International School basketball teams. Over 40 students travelled to England in the annual fixture between the two schools.

Games were arranged on Friday night at TASIS and ACS Hillingdon and all day Saturday at ACS Hillingdon.

Antwerp Junior Varsitys were dropped off at TASIS on Friday where they were defeated in close games.

Also on Friday night Antwerp Varsity played ACS Hillingdon where they were defeated by strong Hawk teams. Scores as follows:

     • Varsity Girls 59-23

     • Varsity Boys 60-31.

On Saturday morning the American School of London (ASL) Junior Varsity teams were invited to play Antwerp Varsity. Antwerp played well and won both in close games.

These games were followed by the Hawks Junior Varsitys v Antwerp Junior Varsitys. The girls lost by one point and were unlucky not to win. The boys lost by  20 points  but the team showed good skills against strong opposition.

The last two games saw our Varsity teams win well against Antwerp. Scores as follows::

     • Varsity girls 41 -15

     • Varsity boys 51-26
