What an amazing trip! Grade 4 students had an action packed few days at Charterhouse, in Somerset. Activities included shelter building, caving, rock-climbing and a night walk.
All of the experiences were memorable and exciting, with students feeling very proud of their achievements, even though it might have been a little bit frightening at times.
At the end of the first day, students were pretty much all asleep by 10pm, previously unheard of, although many were up early the following morning and ready to go after a lovely, full English breakfast.
Reflections at school the following day were really positive. Students thought that they had become a more cohesive group through the team-building activities as well as learning a lot more about each other.
Exhausting but exhilarating!
