Excellent IB Diploma results posted
Congratulations to ACS students, their parents and ACS staff for achieving excellent International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma exam results, with most graduates securing a place at their university of choice.
This year a total of 111 students across our three schools were awarded an IB Diploma, with Yurika Takahashi, from ACS Hillingdon, securing a maximum score of 45, placing her in the top 0.5% of IBD students worldwide. In addition, 7 of our students scored 40 points and above, with 70 attaining 30 points and above (the IB pass mark is 24 points). The total ACS point average was 33 (the international average is 29), with a 94% Diploma pass rate (the international average is 80%). These are outstanding results, and especially rewarding as ACS welcomes students with a broad range of academic abilities and encourages them to pursue this demanding programme. We wish all our graduates every success in their further studies, knowing they are best prepared to meet the opportunities and challenges that lie ahead.
