Why I joined ACS
Working at ACS gave me the opportunity to combine my counselling background with my experience working in education. I believe that children are most able to achieve their full potential if they are emotionally happy and secure and feel good about themselves.
What I most love about working here
I enjoy my daily contact with children and the opportunity to see them develop and grow. ACS provides a friendly, supportive environment for both children and staff members and working here makes me feel very much part of the community. I also love the location of ACS, our great facilities and beautiful surrounding countryside.
The reason ACS is special
The community of ACS consists of so many different cultures and countries and yet it feels like we are all part of one big family here in the UK. One of my favourite events in the Lower School is our annual International Fair, when students, parents and teachers all get the opportunity to share something about their own culture and learn from one another. Getting to know people and children from all over the world has been truly life enhancing.
My favourite part of living in the UK
Experiencing spring in the English countryside. I love where I live, being able to go walking and horse riding completely surrounded by nature’s beauty. Living in Surrey and close to London, also makes it easy to be a tourist, travel and discover Europe.
