Why I joined ACS

I have travelled extensively, both for pleasure and in my career. When I arrived in UK and visited ACS with the intention of enrolling my son, I felt we had finally arrived at the station. ACS is the international setting that had most of the things I had found in bits and pieces throughout my nomadic life. This job was the completion of a long journey.

What I most love about working here

The students, first of all. The variety of cultures within our extended school community. My colleagues and the opportunities we have to share our international experiences. I also love the challenge of being part of an international and educational experience where expectation and contribution makes a difference in everybody’s life. I also feel fortunate to work in such a beautiful place – a purely aesthetic pleasure full of historic landmarks and nature beauty.

The reason ACS is special

Experiencing the positive attitude as part of an ‘extended family’, where everyone contributes to a common goal and where you can feel that students are comfortable, happy and safe.  I believe that this kind of school is a place where everyone can learn what tolerance and diversity really means.

My favourite part of living in the UK

London offers an unrivalled cultural atmosphere, a melting pot where everything and everyone is represented.
