Our Housing and Transport Departments are looking forward to
helping you settle into your new home and community swiftly and
easily.
Housing
In order to help arriving families find their ideal home in the
UK, ACS Housing Officers provide a home search of available properties
located in the school’s busing area. We provide as much
or as little support as you require. This may mean providing back-up
to your relocation agent or taking you on a house tour of short-listed
homes. Our housing officers are not associated with or remunerated
by any external agencies and provide this service free of charge
to enrolling families.
Once you’ve found your new home, they can also help you
settle into your new community by providing information on all
aspects of local life. Additionally, links to the PTO and school
community can be initiated here, where you can be assured of a
warm welcome and strong support.
Transitions to ACS
As families join our schools throughout the academic year, strong
networks are in place to help you settle into our extended community.
The Admissions Office, Housing Officer, Welcome Committee, International
Group, Parent-Teacher Organisation, Lower, Middle and High School
administrators, teachers, faculty and student counsellors, and
the student Buddy Programme, all provide effective support to help
incoming students and families tackle the many challenges associated
with relocation.
Transport
Each day, ACS buses transport hundreds of students safely and efficiently between home and school. Transportation is provided in comfortable coaches, for either door-to-door or shuttle pick-up services. See the campus-based transportation information for approximate bussing times from popular campus neighbourhoods.
